The youngest-ever recipient of the Austrian “flame of peace award,” Kanyeyachukwu is a 13-year-old child living with autism but, has found expression through art.
His talent was first noticed at the tender age of 4 when he would scribble on paper, walls, furniture and anywhere he found a flat surface. His abstract expressionism style is easily identifiable by his powerful strokes on canvas, and his works are a unique blend of colors, shapes, and textures that reflect his full expression.
You’re invited to Kanyeyachukwu’s solo exhibition scheduled to take place at the renowned Kente Royal Gallery located at 2373 Adam Clayton Powell Jr BLVD, NY, NY 10030. The show will run from May 3-7, 2023. The Grand reception is scheduled for Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 5:00pm.
