The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) hosts its annual Professional Learning Institute
Long Beach, CA— Each year thousands of early childhood professionals gather at NAEYC’s Professional Learning Institute. June 2-5, educators from around the world are meeting at the Long Beach Convention Center to attend learning sessions, network with colleagues and engage in conversations about the future of the profession.
Over the past year, the importance of early childhood education has been in the spotlight. The state of the profession is now front and center in the collective minds of the media, government and public.
Over the next four days, educators from around the world will:
- Attend more than 200 professional development sessions
- Participate in discussions on the status of Power to the Profession, a national collaboration to define the early childhood profession by establishing a unifying framework for career pathways, knowledge, and competencies, qualifications, standards, and compensation.
- Hear keynote speaker, co-founder of Studio 180, and world renowned architect, Trung Le speak on Humanity centered design.
- Learn, connect and grow with more than 1800 attendees, early learning exhibitors, and trailblazers in the field.
