But beyond the festivities, Runway to the Cure is a platform to raise critical funds for FA research—a cause that has already led to groundbreaking treatments like Skyclarys, the first-ever FDA-approved therapy for this debilitating condition.

The Maugee family, driven by their love for their 25-year-old twins Christian and Isabel, embodies the heart of this cause. Diagnosed with FA at just nine years old, the twins face increasing challenges as the condition progresses. Despite this, they continue to inspire hope, participating in clinical trials and raising awareness.
