NEW YORK, March 25, 2014 – The Real Estate Board of NY residential members are preparing to hold the 2nd Annual Upper Manhattan Committee Harlem Open House Expo, which will take place on Saturday, April 5th and Sunday, April 6th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00p.m.  The event will kick off at Corner Social restaurant at 321 Lenox Avenue, and will include exclusive viewings of co-op condo and townhouse listings for sale in East Harlem, Central Harlem, West Harlem and Hamilton Heights, providing buyers a look in real estate available in the neighborhood.

Each attendee will receive a directory guide containing information about the expo participants, an updated neighborhood guide, and information on how they can contribute to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, which has already raised over a quarter of a million dollars in relief funds for those affected by the recent East Harlem Building collapse.

“Our Harlem Open House Expo will highlight the vibrancy of the Harlem home market as well as kick off the Spring season with an exciting and informative event,” said REBNY President, Steven Spinola.  “It’s also a great opportunity for members of REBNY and the general public to demonstrate our care and concern for the survivors of the recent East Harlem building explosion.  We are proud to support the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and to help these residents in a any way we can.  In times of crisis, New Yorkers always respond by assisting their neighbors in need.”
