The Episcopal Diocese of New York will celebrate the life and work of Absalom Jones, the first African American priest in the Episcopal Church, on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, 112th St. and Amsterdam Ave. The service will begin at10:30 AM and will be followed by a reception, multicultural entertainment and a sharing of social justice opportunities. The event is free. All are welcome.
