Letter from the Publisher

Neil deGrasse Tyson on our magnificent universe, Sen. Chuck Schumer on healthcare, and Dan Rose’s call for philanthropic development are some of the exciting things that one can read about in this and next month’s Harlem Times. As we expand to Detroit and Montreal, our mission remains clear: To herald the message that the doors of prosperity are open, and that one simply has to walk through to achieve success.

It has been a long and good fight, but Harlem and her people are rising to the top. This phenomenon is happening not only in Harlem, New York, but can be seen in many different urban areas where success is measured by a sense of self-improvement tied to others in their communities. And we must continue to strive to reach the highest levels of knowledge and development, not simply for ourselves and others, but for those who will come after us as well.

We hope you have a good read. And if you have trouble finding the issue, please visit our site at www.theharlemtimes.com, where you can see the latest issues and order home delivery for a great price!

Best.
